HTC Multi-talent Contest is open to school students and young adults of all nationalities and countries.

All talents, including singing, instruments playing, painting, speech, standup comedy, MC, acting, dancing, multi-media, writing poems, martial arts and or other combined arts performance.

Participants are required to submit video recording of recent performance for the audition.

Eligibility:

We invite school students and adults to participate in the contest. There is no age limit for the adult participants.

Multiple winner will be chosen in each of the following age groups:

ELEMENTARY

Ages 8 and Under

Maximum time for the Competition: 5 minutes

JUNIOR

Ages 9 – 12

(2nd/+ contestants may be younger) Maximum time for the Competition: 7 minutes

INTERMEDIATE

Ages 13 – 17

(2nd/+ contestants may be younger) Maximum time for the Competition: 7 minutes

SENIOR

Ages 18-32

(2nd/+ contestants may be younger) Maximum time for the Competition: 8 minutes

Awards:

Winners will perform on July 30th.

Scholarship, Judges’s favorite Award Trophy, Judges’ Distinction Award Trophy and other special awards may be granted based on judges recommendations.

Judges:

A panel of qualified judges will evaluate audition materials. All judges are independent, their students are not allowed to apply this season.

How to Apply:

To apply for the contest participants must submit:

– Completed online Application Form.

– DVD recording or a link to YouTube video of their performance.

– A biography of applicant in MS Word format (not exceed 150 words). Include past participation in the competitions, festivals and other public events. Portrait photo in electronic format, yo be used for the competition brochure printing.

– Biography and photo should be e-mailed to [email protected].

Application materials acceptance will be closed by the end of the day on June 15th, 2023.

Application Fee:

Application Fee for solo performers is $150.

Application Fee for Duo and Trio is $80 per Ensemble Member.

Application Fee are not refundable.

1. Contestants for visual arts, film, writing and will upload their work piece by word, pdf, jpg under the registration page.

2. Contestants for media performance and other talents will upload their live video or link under the registration page.

3. Each live acting performance is limited to five (5) minutes.

4. Sound System will be provided. Contestants using pre-recorded background music provided it either on CD or Thumb drive with attached marked tracks. No pre-recorded music on tapes or phones will be accepted.
